A thought
I have not been too active here, but came back on and discovered a lot of spam accounts that I cleaned up. In the process I may have deleted some legitimate members.

Here is the thought: there are a number of excellent forums where snare drums are discussed, and I am wondering if this would be a more useful spot for buying, selling, trading and offering services than discussing. Thoughts and ideas anyone?

I think a "catch-all" would attract more traffic. Some people want to talk drums, some want to talk specs, some want to talk collectibility, and some want to buy/sell. The narrower you make this already small niche, the less members and less posts you'll attract. I don't know if that's what you want, but I think that's a pretty accurate prediction...

RE: A thought
I think one of the attractions to GN is the sort of "open forum" where anything goes. It seems to keep people coming back - even if they don't have any active drum projects at the time.

RE: A thought
I haven't been active, but I think a Snare Drum site makes sense and should continue.

I've been concentrating on cymbals more lately though.
